Strategic Intelligence Ltd, trading as Stintela ("we", "us"), respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect through www.stintela.com, why we collect it and what your rights are. We handle personal data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

Enquiries. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), organisation (if you give it), the topic you choose and your message.
Technical information. Our server keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for a short time so we can limit repeated form submissions and block spam. We do not store your plain IP address with your enquiry.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and follow up on it.
To keep the website secure and prevent spam.
To understand how the website is used, only if you accept analytics cookies.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision making.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is stored in our website system and sent to our team by email. We use hosting and email providers to run the site, and they process data on our behalf. If you accept analytics cookies, anonymous usage information is also sent to our analytics provider. We share personal data with others only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and manage the resulting relationship, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
delete your data or stop using it, where the law allows;
stop using your data for a purpose you object to.

Security

Our website is served over HTTPS, access to the content system needs a password and enquiries are stored in a private database. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
